Oppo A97 5G has been launched in China. Offered in two different colour options, the latest Oppo A-series smartphone has a dual rear camera setup led by a 48-megapixel main sensor. The Oppo A97 5G features a 90Hz refresh rate display and is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC. The new device comes in a lone 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration with an option to expand the RAM up to 19GB using the additional inbuilt storage. The Oppo A97 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W flash charging.

The Oppo A97 5G has been launched in China. The device is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 30,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 36,000) for the 7GB RAM + 256GB storage version. Both the variants have a 6-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and are powered by a MediaTek MT6771 SoC and runs on ColorOS 5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box with ColorOS 5 UI on top of it. This is the first smartphone from Oppo that features a dual camera setup on its rear side along with an LED flash. The dual camera setup includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor Zalo along with f/2.4 aperture for depth sensing purpose only. On front side, Oppo has added an 8-megapixel selfie shooter which comes with f/2 aperture for better selfies in low light conditions as well as portrait mode support too.

The new Oppo A97 5G sports an all screen design that measures 6mm thin and weighs 153 grams while it measures 162 mm x 77 mm x 7 mm in size dimensions to give you some idea of how thin this phone is. It is backed up by a 3,080mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and can be charged up to 50% in 30 minutes or 75% in just an hour’s time. The Oppo A97 5G has a 5G-enabled chipset which means you will get the support for the upcoming 5G networks like Reliance Jio, Vodafone and Idea among others. On the connectivity front, Oppo A97 5G comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) with MIMO technology, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port with OTG support, GPS/ A-GPS with GLONASS and BeiDou Navigation plus there is NFC too for easier payments using Android Pay app on this phone as well as Google Assistant integration too which is great news for those who are using this phone on Jio network or any other carrier that has the support for Google Assistant integration .
